40 stores from the Retravision group in Australia have defected to the BSR group, which now trades as Betta Home Living,  including 6 stores from Retravision Northern group (Qld, North NSW), 32 from Southern ((Vic, Tas, & Southern N W) and 2 from the West (WA, SA & NT).

104 stores from the Retravision Southern group went bust earlier this year and are believed to have debts in the tens of millions.

The change was confirmed to ChannelNews by Betta group CEO Graeme Cunningham.

“As of today, 6 stores from Northern, 32 stores from the Southern group and 2 from the West that we can confirm at this point.

“These are stores that are trading now as BSR members.”

Cunningham  also confirmed Betta are “in ongoing discussions to assist other stores where possible.”

The stores will operate as Betta Home Living franchisees and pushes the number of stores in its franchise network to over 160.

Retravision was not available for comment when contacted by ChannelNews.

Last week Grays Online began flogging electrical goods on the cheap from three Retravision NSW stores that went bust under the instructions of administrators.
