The
Epson EB-Z8000WU is a WUXGA 3LCD projector that provides 6000 lumens Colour Light Output. It has a resolution of 1920 x 1200 and comes with
Epson's Cinema Filter that provides ‘the most faithful colour achievement ever.'
Epson's Business Unit Manager, Bruce Bealby said, "The dual lamp system with WUXGA resolution ensures full HD quality even in large and light environments such as lecture halls, conference rooms and auditoriums."
"This projector provides a broad workspace: It can display A3 contents with full scale or A4 windows side-by-side without minimising the window. It also allows full HD contents without any image distortion or scaling while streaming announcements or weather updates on the top most part of the screen," added Bealby.
Epson also wants this projector to be as simple to install and maintain as possible. In order to do this, Epson made sure that users will have easy access to the dual-lamps and filter (with the filter lasting for up to 10,000 hours). The projectors will also have a liquid, air, and Peltier cooling technology that lowers the temperature of the LCD panels directly, resulting to longer product life in addition to a four-year projector warranty.
Epson will also be launching a 7000 lumen, WXGA projector, the EB-Z8050W in January 2010, with pricing to be announced at a later date.
The EB-Z8000WU will be available starting this month for $25,995.
