In a press briefing conducted this morning, Microsoft Australia's General Manager for Consumer and Online, Alex Stewart, said that Telstra and Microsoft are working together in Australia to create ‘communication experiences that go beyond individual phone, PC and notebook screens to create a connected experience across these devices to services on the Web.'
"With Windows Phones, it's easier to manage both work and play. People can easily navigate their phones with the touch of a finger, browse the Internet using a great mobile browser experience, connect to Telstra services with ease and also access two new Microsoft services: MyPhone and Windows Marketplace."
"My Phone is a new service that lets people easily back-up contacts, text, photos and videos automatically from their phone to the cloud or their PC. We're also launching today Windows Marketplace for Mobile, an application store for Windows Phone with popular mobile applications available including Facebook, MySpace and Tinywiki as well as leading game and business titles that can be easily purchased and installed directly on a Windows Phone," continued Stewart.
