New Sony Ericsson Line-up At CES

By Sarah Falson | Thursday | 2008-01-10

Sony Ericsson in the US has made multiple mobile handsets and accessories announcements over the past week at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, with numerous of the products set for possible release in Australia throughout the year.

Though Sony Ericsson's local representative can't reveal local dates or prices at this stage, three new handsets and five new Bluetooth headsets were on display at CES this week.

Two Walkman phones are among the roll-out – the Walkman W760i with GPS and Google Maps built-in, plus twin speakers, Shake Control and room for more than 900 songs.

The new Walkman W350i offers a 10mm slim chassis with a ‘flip' design – which is unique to Sony Ericsson Walkman phones – along with Bluetooth stereo streaming.

The Z555i handset is a stylish phone with a metallic front with capabilities to mute and snooze the phone's alarm with the wave of a hand.

The Bluetooth headsets come in five different models of various capabilities and forms.

Sony Ericsson Australia says distribution information will follow shortly.
