Online advertising agency, Adknowledge, has bought the Australian and UK divisions of Media Run, another online advertising company which is dedicated to creating banner advertising for websites. Adknowledge is a US-based company that specialises in assisting advertisers looking for online "clicks", or traffic, and operates BidSystem.com, a multi-channel behavioral targeting ad network in which advertisers bid for traffic in display, email and smaller search engines.
Over 50,000 advertisers have used the Adknowledge BidSystem, according to the company, which will now gain an international presence due to its most recent acquisition.
"Media Run's banner network gives Adknowledge an international footprint in the UK and Australia," said Adknowledge CEO, Scott Lynn.
"This acquisition will extend our reach globally and further into the online banner ad space. Media Run has been one of the fastest growing ad networks in Europe performing well on all types of media. We're excited to have them on our team."
