The market grew by 57.5 percent to reach $263 million, the highest growth for a third quarter since 2003, according to a report released today by the Audit Bureau of Verification Services (ABVS).
The report also found at least a 50 percent increase across all expenditure types over the same period in 2005.
The three broad advertising categories in the report comprised of General Advertising which accounted for 29.7% of total online ad expenditure, Classifieds Advertising which accounted for 30.8% and Search and Directories Advertising which accounted for 39.5%.
