In the third quarter, Acer says it expects to outsource around 2.2-2.5 million notebook orders to Wistron which should boost Wistron’s total notebook shipments in the third quarter to 6.5-7 million units, a total that would help the company surpass its original forecast of 15 per cent sequential growth says digitimes.com.
