D-link has introduced a new networking solution for businesses and consumers with the DFL-260E NetDefend Unified Threat Management (UTM) Firewall.
Ideal for small-medium sized business, the DFL-260E is designed to protect against virus attacks, unauthorised intrusions and harmful content.
Characterised by a rack mountable chassis, the firewall’s hardware is designed to increase performance.
Shielding by its solid exterior is a web surfing control database containing millions of URLs for Web-Content Filtering.
Network safety is managed through real time IPS, anti-virus and a URL database service, ensuring the network is safeguarded from application exploits and malware.
D-Link’s latest offering easily manages employee internet access and behaviour. Through remote management, bandwidth control policies, URL/keyword blocking, Access policies and SNMP, the DFL-260E will make sure colleagues visit safe and secure websites.
Monitoring the network can be done via email alerts, system logs, consistency checks and real-time stats.
There’s also an optional 12 month NetDefend Firewall subscription, providing updates for IPS, anti-virus and web content filtering.
The D-Link DFL-260E is available now at a $625 retail price.
