Michael Doyle the GM of sales at LG Australia has quit.

Talking to ChannelNews Doyle said “I am going nowhere, I just quit”. 

During the period of transition, LG Australia Managing Director, Mr. Youngik Lee, is taking on Doyle’s previous role.

Insiders claim that Doyle will be “hard to replace”.

It was only six months ago that LG looked at restructuring their sales operations with a former industry sales director approach to work alongside Doyle in the restructuring of the LG sales operation, he declined an invitation to join the Company.

In a statement issued to ChannelNews LG management said “Over his many years with LG, Michael has contributed significantly to the company’s success and will leave behind a strong legacy. While his leaving may be regrettable, LG Australia would like to wish Michael every success in his future endeavours”. 

Doyle who had close ties with both Harvey Norman and Bing Lee took on the role when LG underwent a major restricting that saw Graeme Cunningham quit as sales director to take on the role of CEO at Betta Electrical in Brisbane.
