Pacific Internet Australia has unveiled a new Partner Program for systems integrators

Phey Teck Moh CEO and President of Pacific Internet’s NASDAQ-listed parent launched the enhanced program at a Melbourne launch last night.

“With our new program for Australia’s systems integrator community, Pacific Internet is in a very strong position to boost our business growth to new levels through partnerships not just in the country, but throughout the Asia-Pacific,” he said announcing the program that replaces the traditional gold/silver/bronze breakdown with Dragon/Tiger/Phoenix reseller levels.

The program is designed for system integrators with five to 15 staff who maintain direct relationships with SMBs. Partners will be rewarded for selling Pacific Internet’s business-grade solutions such as broadband, private IP networks, managed security and voice services.

Dennis Muscat, Pacific Internet Australia’s managing director, said: “Increasingly, the market is demanding infrastructure needed to deliver private network solutions and all the associated applications businesses want to run: VoIP, finance functionality and sales and marketing modules. Our business-grade network and new support structure backed by accreditation and business planning means we’ve got a greater value proposition for partners so they excel in this space.

The company also wants to build out its Australian partner base with plans to take it from the 265 it has now to more than 400 by the end of the year in a strategy that hopes partners will contribute at least half of all new Australia revenue’s by the middle of 2007.

A unique feature of the new program is the joint Cisco and Pacific Internet accreditation called ‘Securing the SMB’. This has been designed with Cisco security experts to improve the way partners design, sell and service Pacific Internet security solutions powered by Cisco hardware.

Partners will also have a dedicated account manager, priority hotline for technical support and regular training forums. The company is also offering to help integrators out with project management and collaborative selling offering network advice to partners putting together complex network solutions.
