Stephanie Ogden is new Managing Director of Kobo Asia-Pacific and South Africa.The role of MD for ANZ, Asia Pacific and South Africa regions, has been recently created within Kobo, CN has been told.

An consumer electronics industry veteran, Ogden is a former Director of Sales at Belkin and Country Manager, New Zealand. 
She will lead teams responsible for the continued expansion of Kobo’s eReading platform through localised online experiences, strategic partnerships with booksellers and retail partners, and new eReading services.  Ogden commenced her role in June, according to her LinkedIn profile. 
“The shift from print to digital has only just begun and markets across Europe, Asia-Pacific and South Africa are poised for tremendous growth,” said Michael Serbinis, CEO, Kobo.  
“As Kobo looks to help transform how people around the world read, the leadership and experience Sean and Stephanie bring to Kobo will be instrumental in our growth as we continue to bring new solutions and experiences for Readers to market.” 
Ogden has 19 years experience in consumer electronics, and helped establish Belkin and Sega Ozisoft  in Australia and New Zealand.
Ogden will be focused on building market share to key markets including the company’s recent entry into the Philippines.
