Lenovo is in the midst of a national road show for partners to introduce a new two level program framework.

The events will run through until May 9 and cover the Australian and New Zealand marketplace.

The program is said to be a simplified with Premium Business Partners designed for the enthusiastic resellers who invest in skill development and growing Lenovo revenues. Premium level partners are eligible for incremental rewards as well as additional sales opportunities, lead generation or co-marketing dollars. There is an Authorised Business Partner level to recognise partners selling Lenovo products.

The two tier system replaces a three tier model which involved a complicated points table to determine and maintain status. The simplified system brings improved sales tools, new demand generation tools with building blocks, an enhanced program to demo program and a broader product portfolio, says the company.

The Lenovo Legends Incentive program and a Storefront program round out the program.

“We’re undertaking a significant recruitment drive with a view to bringing on board resellers with a small business speciality, and expertise in service and support in this area,” said Rupina Menzagopian, Channel Director for Lenovo, Australia. “Partners are excited to learn more about Lenovo and its product offerings, and so we’re hosting the roadshow to educate resellers about the new Lenovo Partner Network Program and how it can grow their business.”

Current members of the IBM PartnerWorld program will automatically be part of the Lenovo Partner Network program and will continue to have access to the benefits earned under the IBM PartnerWorld program.
