Is this LG best phone ever? Its brighter, bigger and no side keys: Meet G2
As excitement built around LG new hero , the new 5.2″ G2 was revealed at Home of Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York, where LG Mobile boss branded it “ambitious mobile phone in our company’s history.”
There’s other cool stuff on G2, like when its face up, there’s no need to lift it to turn it on, all you have to do is tap twice on the display, called KnockON.
Other UX features include:Answer Me – auto answers when the phone is raised, Text Link allows info embedded in texts to be selected and saved, QuickRemote – G2 be used to remote control home entertainment devices, Slide Aside – easier multitasking by simply “sliding” open apps off, Guest Mode – displays only pre-selected apps when guests use the phone.

G2’s 13MP high-resolution camera is also impressive: its Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS) meaning no blurring, clearer images in motion or shooting in dim environments. The G2 camera has features of a standalone digital camera such as Super Resolution and Multi-point AF.
LG Australia confirmed G2 will be available in Q4 in 4G, exclusively through Optus retail channels as a post-paid handset (no plans pricing yet), or for outright at “select retail partners” for $699.
