US company Kaseya has officially launched its Australian offices, offering an IT managed service automation software to solution providers and corporate IT organisations.

The software has already proved successful in the US and locally the operation is headed up by managed services specialist Tim Rich.

The local business has announced more than 50 service provider and system integrator customers, including AXIIS Technology, located in the NSW city of Dubbo; and Infinity Solutions, which is one of New Zealand’s largest system integrators.

The launch of the local offices coincides with the release of the latest version of the software, with Kaseya CEO Gerald Blackie stating that the package provides an integrated, automated and remote system management solution.

“The traditional break/fix model, the core of SMB IT services, is making way for new and improved proactive, automated managed service delivery,” he says, adding that older style ‘hourly rate’ IT contractors are a dying breed.
