Microsoft has launched its ‘superhero – styled’ notebook Bluetooth mouse which also functions as a slide presenter, a laser pointer, digital ink device and a media remote control.

Targeted at business professionals requiring a presentation tool, the Wireless Notebook Presenter Mouse 8000 claims to allow you to select between modes with one click. This means you can select slides, point out graphs and charts in a presentation and select CD or DVD tracks with the one gadget. (The mouse is compatible with RealPlayer, iTunes and Windows Media Player.

Microsoft says the extra features are not a gimmick as the mouse is still at heart, a functioning mouse, complete with high definition laser technology, ergonomic design, tilt wheel and magnifier button. The mouse also comes with a carrying case to hold the transceiver.
