Mitel has appointed Australian company, the Ethan Group, as its second Platinum accredited systems integration partner for Australia.

Mitel’s Solution Provider program is a skill based program, designed to ensure that end users receive consistently high quality service and support by solution providers. Ethan Group’s achievement of Platinum level demonstrates that they offer the highest level of converged skills, and are best placed to support customers in implementing converged voice and data networks.

Gwilym Funnell, Mitel Australia Country Manager commented, “Ethan Group and Mitel are rocketing ahead with IP Telephony solutions. Ethan Group’s overall revenue grew 760% last year, winning them the title of being Australia’s fastest growing company.”

The Ethan Group is equally excited about working with Mitel. Andrew Rayment, Ethan Group CEO added, “Ethan Group is proud to have partnered with Mitel, and excited about the prospect of working even more closely in the future.”

To coincide with Mitel’s continued rapid growth in the Australian market, Mitel has also appointed Stefan Jansson as Technical Support Manager, based in Sydney. Stefan has previously held positions at Damovo (Australia) and Ericsson (UK). The company has also expanded its Technical support centre to Sydney. The core team will be dedicated to supporting the Asia Pacific region, supplementing the resources of the European and Canadian Mitel Technical Support Centres.
