Vodafone and 3 have once again increased the amount of data included in its contract caps in an effort to meet consumer demand.

From today, new and upgrading customers can get: 100MB of data for the $19 Cap (was $2 per MB); 200MB of data for the $29 Cap (was 50MB); 1GB of data for the $49 Cap (was 500MB); 2GB for the $59 Cap (was 750MB); and 2GB for the $79 Cap (was 1GB).
Those who decide to get a $29 Cap upwards will also have unlimited calls to Vodafone and 3.
In addition, VHA is also offering the iPhone 4 and Sony Ericsson X10 for $0 upfront on a new 59 Promo Cap on a 24-month contract.
The 59 Promo Cap includes $650 worth of call value, 2GB of data, and Unlimited standard SMS and MMS. The 59 Promo Cap is available to new and existing customers who connect or upgrade to a new 24-month contract between 25 August and 25 November 2010.
Vodafone Hutchison Australia’s Director of Marketing, John Casey said, “Vodafone and 3 customers now get a whole lot more for their money. Our customers’ affinity with mobile internet and social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter is growing day by day, so we’re meeting that demand by increasing the data in our caps.”
