Natcomp Signs Major Flash Maker

Natcomp has signed a deal to distribute flash memory cards from Microdia Corporation, one of the biggest flash memory makers in the world.

Natcomp Technology Australia will get rights to distribute into the Australian and NZ markets focusing on a range of High-speed cards.

Natcomp’s, Managing Director and founder Fabio Grassia said the aggressive push by the Hong Kong-based manufacturer will include Compact Flash, SD, Mini SD, Micro SD, MMC Plus, MMC, MMC mobile, RS-MMC, and MMC micro, with memory sizes currently to 8GB and speeds up to 3 times the leading brands currently available.

The XtraPro and XtraPlus ranges have read/write speeds up to 200X (30MB/Sec) and 82X (12.3MB/Sec) respectively.

Microdia sources its Flash ICs from Samsung and Toshiba and encases them in 100 per cent water/heat/dust proof materials for life long durability. Products are offered under a Lifetime International Warranty.

Natcomp sill ship overnight from its Sydney office and offers to help market the brand, providing specially made PoS kiosks to help increase exposure in all outlets including the IT Channel, Camera stores, Electronic mass retailers, mobile phone stores, etc.

 The range will be available in mid March.
