NetComm has launched a multi-function printer (MFP) server that allows users to network their MFPs and use multiple functions.
“The NP3680 is the only product in the market that can recognise all the functions of a networked multi-function printer,” according to NetComm managing director David Stewart.
NetComm anticipates that the new MFP server will prove popular with SMBs and home office users since many print servers on the market only support printing when a MFP is networked through the printer server.
The NP3680 supports a range of MFPs and USB printers, offering two USB 2.0 host ports. It can connect and network stand-alone scanners and USB storage devices.
It also monitors and reports ink levels to all users on the network to minimise the possibility of down time.
