PagerDuty, which claims to be a global leader in digital operations management, has opened an office in Sydney to service the Asia-Pacific region, appointing the former head of APAC sales for Dropbox, David Wall, as director of sales.

PagerDuty offers digital operations management as a service that it says empowers software developers, dev/ops, IT operations and business leaders to prevent and resolve business-impacting incidents. It claims to “arm businesses with the insight to proactively manage incidents and events that may impact customers across their IT environment.”

More than 300 users in Australia are said to include Telstra, ANZ Bank, Fairfax Media, Harvey Norman and REA Group.
