The new wireless enabled projectors series, the PT-DZ570 , which starts from $4399, feature a versatile 2:1 wide lens zoom range, and also offers a high contrast ratio of 2,000:1 and native WUXGA resolution of up to 1920 x 12001 pixels for 16×10 full high-def viewing.

The projectors are wireless, ceiling mountable and have control software as optional, allowing the device to be commanded from a PC in another room.

At the higher end of the range, PT-DZ570 with its single lamp unit gives “stunning image quality” say its makers, with up to 4,500 lumens of brightness.

The projectors also offer features the Panasonic RGB Booster, which make each colour stand out and combines Vivid Colour Control technology with a Lamp Modulation Drive System.

Its Daylight View tool measures surrounding light with its built-in ambient light sensor which is self-correcting, producing clear, crisp images even in bright rooms.

The new series also takes colour fidelity up a notch with the Rec. 709 Mode for optimal colour reproduction for projecting HDTV sources.

Both the PT-DZ570E and PT-DW530E feature a 16:10 aspect ratio so users can take advantage of the side-by-side function, making it possible to simultaneously project content from two sources, such as a PowerPoint presentation from a PC and a video segment from a DVD player.

The PT-DZ570E also comes equipped with a built-in Waveform Monitor, allowing users to easily view the waveforms on the screen and adjust the settings accordingly if the output level of the source device fluctuates.

This new series will also save on power, and designed with an environment conscience and low on power consumption, using just 0.3W in Eco Standby Mode and are dust resistant.

They are also easily mountable and low maintenance with the projector lamp is located at the rear, meaning the device does not have to be removed from the ceiling mount when it needs to be replaced.

“With a 2x zoom lens and a horizontal/vertical lens shift feature that makes it possible to move the projected image without moving the projector,” says David Cuckney, Manager of Panasonic Australia AV/IT.

“The PT-DZ570 Series offers not only the fantastic image quality one would expect from a Panasonic projector, but also extremely cost-efficient operation,” he added.

Starting at just under $4,400 for the DX 500E,  the DW530E retails for  $4949.00, with the top end in the series, the PT-DZ570E will set you back $8249.
