This move to the High Court comes as the sparring duo failed to resolve the patents battle over Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, which Apple claims infinges on its intellectual patents on iPad, was failed to be resolved at Sydney’s Federal court, last week.

A senior communications consultant with over 12 years of developing public relations strategies, Noble has worked in Australia and around the world for companies including Dell, Emirates, MasterCard and Dell.

Locally, he has worked for National Australia Bank and Gloria Jean’s Coffee on corporate comms strategies.

And despite all the legal dramas with Apple, going on in 20 courts globally, the Galaxy maker has vowed to fight iPad rival to the bitter end and “take all available measures” to ensure the Android Tab 10.1, tipped as a hot contender to the iPad 2, is eventually sold in Oz.

Noble will be responsible for “developing and executing Samsung’s external communications strategy for Australia,” the Korean giant said yesterday.

“Richard joins the Corporate Marketing team at Samsung at a very exciting time, with a number of groundbreaking launches and announcements imminent,” says Jai Sanderson, Samsung Corporate Communications Manager.

The communications experience he brings from a diverse range of industries will prove invaluable to the team’s strategic planning and campaign execution.”

Noble will also manage the relationship with agency partner, Edelman.
