The PDG-DWL2500 and the PDG-DXL2000 feature a Frame Sequential Display Format that delivers 3D images. With the combination of 3D and short-focus projection technologies, companies can show 3D images in small venues.
The short throw design enables wall mounting directly above a projection screen or whiteboard. Images can also be projected onto the floor or a tabletop if the unit is not wall mounted.
According to Sanyo, the PDG-DWL2500 is able to project a full 80-inch image from a distance of only 32cm. The PDG-DWL2500 has 2500 lumens and a resolution of 1280 x 800, while the PDG-DXL2000 promises 2000 lumens and a resolution of 1024 x 768.
Additionally, the PDG-DWL2500 and the PDG-DXL2000 projectors include a HDMI terminal compatible with video cameras, Blu-ray Disc players, DVD players and notebooks.
The SANYO PDG-DWL2500 ($2999) and the PDG-DXL2000 ($2499) will be available from September 2010 and October 2010 respectively.
