Sharp has unveiled a 60-inch LCD panel which claims to have the slimmest bezel in the world.

According to the company, the new professional LCD monitor can be used in a variety of applications including videoconferencing, digital signage and events.

The PN-V601 is an LED-backlit display that has a 6.5mm width between neighbouring monitors. Users can multiply the monitors to create multi-screen formats and comes with an enlarge display mode can spread one image across up to 25 monitors (in a 5 x 5 arrangement) from a PC.

The PN-V601 is standard fitted with a HDMI, VGA, Audio-in/out and RS-232C in/out (for control) but can also be expanded to offer a wide selection of connectivity options like DVI-D-in, DVI-D-out, PC RGB, Component, S-Video plus 10W+10W amplifier with external speakers connection, as well as LAN (TCP/IP) for control.

The Sharp PN-V601 LCD Monitor is available now at all leading AV specialists and system integrators for $14,795.
