Western Digital has just announced the addition of the popular ABC iView service to its current WD TV Live and TV Live Hub boxes.

The popular service joins its content offerings including YouTube, Spotify, DailyMotion and Red Bull TV service.

ABC iview catch-up TV service features 14-day catch-up from channels ABC 1, ABC 2, ABC 3, ABC 4 Kids and ABC News 24.

Once screened on free-to-air, programs are uploaded to the iView service and can be viewed for the next 14 days – handy if you missed an episode of Dr Who.

All video is streamed to the WD TV Live or WD TV Live Hub and can be paused, fast forwarded or rewound.

“Extending ABC iview to WD TV Live and WD TV Live Hub products is giving our audience yet another way to access quality drama, entertainment, news and current affairs, documentaries and children’s programs from ABC TV, streamed to their own living room screens. ABC TV continues to lead the way in delivering content across an array of platforms and devices,” said Sally O’Donoghue, Manager, iView and Internet Broadcasting, ABC TV.

WD TV media players can also play personal content such as videos, photos and music by supporting a wide range of media formats.

Users can watch content located on any networked PC or Mac computer in the home, or from a network drive, cloud and other devices.

WD TV Live streaming media player sell for A$149.99 and TV Live Hub media center costs A$ 349.99 at select retailers and online at www.wdstore.com.au.
