<p>The wearable purifier kills harmful germs with built-in UV-LED lights, and features high-performance replaceable filters. The purifier’s dual fans then provide the user with clean, filtered air.</p>
<p>It features LG’s patented Respiratory Sensor, which detects the cycle and volume of the wearer’s breath and adjusts the three-speed dual fans as needed, speeding up to assist air intake or slowing it down to reduce resistance when the wearer is exhaling.</p>
<p>Designed to be comfortable, the LG Puricare Wearable Air Purifier fits snugly on the user’s face to reduce air leakage and is lightweight.</p>
<p>The 820mAh battery can deliver up to 8 hours in low mode and two hours in high mode. It also comes with a case that can further charge your mask.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Almost a year after it was launched in China, the <a href="https://blog.vive.com/us/2018/11/08/htc-vive-launches-full-suite-premium-vr-offerings-businesses-sizes/">HTC Vive Focus VR Headset </a>is being released worldwide to 37 markets with a new focus on business interests touting itself as an “all-in-one solution for enterprise”. It will launch on November 11 for $999AUD.</p>
<p>It’s part of a larger attempt to make HTC VR headsets appealing to companies, including a newly announced collaboration app called Vive Sync, which lets employees in different offices meet and work together in VR.</p>
<p>Although VR headsets have recently been marketed towards gaming, HTC has recognised that VR has is very relevant to businesses in particular automotive design, medical training, situational training, and location-based enterprises.</p>

<p>The set is priced at $999, with the option of upgrading to the Vive Enterprise Advantage service package which will provide commercial licensing, dedicated support for VIVE Enterprise products, and more.</p>
<p>HTC’s Vive Focus does not require a phone or an external PC. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, offers a resolution of 1440 x 1600 per eye and the battery lasts up to three hours.</p>
<p>However, it uses HTC’s Vive’s proprietary Android-based platform Vive Wave rather than Google Daydream. Vive Wave is now used by many third-party manufacturers, mainly in China.</p>

<p>HTC has also announced a new collab tool dubbed Vive Sync, which enables VR conference calls allowing users to brand the VR environment and import virtual objects to share with others in the enterprise application.</p>
<p>This feature can also be integrated with Office 365. Trials for this are set to being in December ahead of the Q1 launch next year.</p>

<p>The new Engage headsets are said to significantly improve the quality of customer calls, and thereby reduce organisational expenses.</p>
<p>Jabra claims the new headsets allow more employees to seat closer together <em>(&#8216;user density&#8217;),</em> without compromising call quality &#8211; thereby a reduction in operating costs.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">The new Engage headsets are designed for &#8220;the modern office&#8221;, fused with improved security features, long-range mobility (up to 150m) and reportedly three times user density compared to rival devices.</p>

<p>Creating an &#8220;entirely new class&#8221; of DECT wireless professional headsets, the range is said to have involved over 115,000 hours of development, and the registration of four patents.</p>
<p>Jabra&#8217;s 65 and 75 Engage headsets feature an &#8220;all day battery&#8221; of between 9 &#8211; 13 hours, with a rapid charge option.</p>
<p>A variety of styles allows Jabra&#8217;s Engage range to cater to different workplaces.</p>

<p>From today CBA customers can now access Samsung Pay through their Samsung wearables and smartphones.</p>
<p>Michael Baumann, general manager everyday banking and payments at CBA says the partnership with Samsung Pay gives customers more ways than ever to pay.</p>
<p>Garry McGregor, director of IT and mobile, Samsung Electronics Australia says,“Samsung Pay not only provides users with a simple and secure way to pay, but it also allows users to load their loyalty cards to capture reward points at the point of sale, which lessens their reliance on a physical wallet.</p>
<p>“With more than $6 billion of transactions across the CommBank app each week we know that our customers love using their phones to make payments. Since 2013 our customers have been able to use their smartphones to make payments.”</p>
<p>Samsung Pay creates a tokenised card number for the user, which means no sensitive payment card information is stored on the device, and also requires PIN, Iris or fingerprint authentication before making payment.</p>
<p>Users also receive remote access to the Find My Mobile website to easily lock their mobile phone device and prevent access to Samsung Pay if their device is misplaced. Additionally, the Samsung Pay app is housed on Samsung’s security platform Knox<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">. </span></p>

<p>Apple’s ad for the new watch is touting “40 million songs on your wrist.” But how often do I have my watch on but also not have my phone?</p>

<p>Orders start September 15th, available September 22nd at Optus, Vodafone and Telstra. There was no mention of JB Hi Fi or Harvey Norman.</p>
