Ultimate Wi-Fi hotspot promises better coverage, better 4G speeds.Telstra’s new mobile hotspot ‘4G My Pocket Wi-Fi Ultimate’ is faster, being first pre-paid mobile device compatible with the new APT700MHz spectrum, rolling out in January 2015.
The telco’s APT700MHz spectrum promises better internet speeds, regional and deeper in-building 4G coverage.
The Ultimate mobile hotspot has a 1.77-inch LCD toggle screen and supports up to 10 Wi-Fi devices simultaneously.
It costs $149 which includes 5GB of data. Recharge options start at $20 per month.
The new 4G hotspot is also the first pre-paid device with a data usage metre integrated with Telstra’s billing system, where you can view data use.
