Apple Release iPhone, iPad & iPod Software Update
0Overall Score

A new update for iPhones, iPads and the iPod touch has been released.

iOS version 5.1.1 tends to numerous little bug issues plaguing Apple’s famed platform. These include the reliable snapping of HDR images from the lock screen and improvements to synchronising Safari bookmarks and Reading lists.

Apple’s new iPad will now be able to switch between 2G and 3G networks without problem, while issues pertaining to video playback via AirPlay have been tended to.

The insubordinate error “unable to purchase” alert that pops up right after you’ve successfully made an app store purchase has also been resolved.

The update can be performed over the air from devices running iOS5 or later by going into settings, general and software update. An ARN report claims the update was less than 60MB.
